HOTELS
Hotels are classified according to government ratings, which vary from country to country. Such classifications and number of stars assigned have no corresponding value from one country to the next and may not reflect the expectations of US travelers. Accommodations are based on two persons sharing a twin-bedded room with private bath or shower at the hotel selected or similar. A single room may be provided at a supplement. In many cases, single rooms, though assuring privacy, are small and not as well situated as double room accommodations. In addition, rooms are assigned upon arrival based on current availability and may vary in size, amenities and location. Generally, triple rooms in Europe consist of two beds with a rollaway for a third party. This may not be comfortable for some travelers.. Air conditioning is available at most 4-star or higher hotels. However, foreign air conditioning & heating may not be regulated according to U.S. standards.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of similar or higher ratings in any package. In the event a hotel substitution becomes necessary, a comparable class of hotel will be provided, however, amenities and location may not be the same.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR TRIP TO CUBA
The Itinerary which has been planned for you encompasses many visits, meetings with individuals and Organizations as well as home visits. These visits have been planned months in advance of your trip and it sometimes becomes necessary to rearrange your Itinerary because of a variety of unforeseen circumstances. Cuba, as a destination is unlike anything that you have experienced in the past so the key word for you to bear in mind is “Flexibility”. Be flexible and enjoy this once in a lifetime experience. Your Cuban Guide is very very adept at ensuring that any cancelled events will be replaced with other activities of the same caliber and interest.

Your program is filled with People to People interactions where you will learn firsthand about everyday life in Cuba. Remember try not to be shy during these meetings and ask questions of your hosts and or speakers. By asking questions you will be able to gain much knowledge about the country and the people of Cuba. Your local Cuban guide will help with many of these People to People Cultural exchanges but it is a very good idea for you to ask questions in order to gain the most out of the person to person experience.

As you are an authorized traveler to Cuba you have certain obligations to comply with as directed by OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) of the United States Treasury Department.

One of which is to maintain a record of your expenses and activities during your trip to Cuba and to keep this record for five (5) years. A great way to keep track would be to keep a journal of your trip to Cuba with this information.
